These table lamps are fitted with a unique lamp holder specially designed for use with contemporary and traditional table lamps. The touch dimmer is built into the lamp holder which allows electronic touch dimming control to be used in conjunction with a variety of lamp designs so that many conventional table lamps can function as modern touch lamps.
The table lamp is controlled by touching a nylon band, which has a large easy to find touch area, that is situated around the lamp holder where the more usual push switch is normally to be found, allowing the table lamp to be easily controlled from any angle around the light. The integral touch dimmer switch is designed to be compatible with both incandescent and low energy dimmable fluorescent lamps and is a full range on/off touch dimmer so any desired brightness between the minimum and maximum setting can be used.
